First axle counting tests on the Westbahn section of the Österreichische Bundesbahnen [Austrian Federal Railways] (ÖBB).
1992
Foundation of Frauscher GmbH with registered offices in St. Marienkirchen/Schärding, Austria.
1994
Approval of the AZF by the Federal Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology in Austria.
2000
EBA approval of the wheel sensors in the RSR120 range by the German Federal Railway Authority (EBA) for use in the Deutsche Bahn AG network.
Winner of the “Energy Globe Award 2000” competition based on exemplary use of regenerative energies and energy-saving measures in building technology, as well as in production processes.
2001
Construction of a separate building for the Research and Development department, leasing of space to a supplier for CNC precision processing.
2002
Approval of the axle counting system ACS2000 by the German Federal Railway Authority (EBA) for use by Deutsche Bahn AG Austrian federal winner in the “Growth through research” competition, in the small companies category.
2003
Certification of quality management in accordance with ISO9001:2000 Completion of the fourth construction phase (new sensor production, assembly and dispatch) and erection of the biomass heating plant to provide heat for our rooms and processes.
2006
Certification of environmental management in accordance with ISO14001:2004.
Expansion of the company site with the construction of a new building for mechanical production.
Commissoning of the new sensor laboratory with outstanding equipment for research and tests on wheel sensors.
Presentation of the wheel sensor RSR123 with V.Mix Technologie®
2007
Frauscher GmbH celebrates “20 years of Frauscher sensor technology”.
Start of development on the Frauscher Advanced Counter FAdC.
2010
Foundation of a subsidiary based in the UK and Asia.
Opening of the Frauscher training center for customer training.
