Evaluation Boards

The evaluation boards supply the electrical current to the wheel sensors and evaluate the wheel sensor signal. At their output, the evaluation boards constitute the interface to the numerous customer applications: For this purpose, the followings options are available:

• electronic switching contacts (optocoupler)
• relay contacts (zero-voltage)
• software interface (protocol)

Flexible and individually scalable

Alongside the safety-focused and highly-available functions, these boards also offer comprehensive diagnostics possibilities, such as the option of measuring the wheel sensor current level or an interface for a higher-ranking diagnostics system. The direction of traversing, the detection of small axles, the suppression of an electromagnetic brake, diameter and speed measurement are just some of the options available in addition to the standard output of system information.

Depending on the interface and/or on the individual evaluation requirements, three different evaluation boards are available: EIB, IMC and AEB
