Frauscher Sensor Technology (Beijing) Co. Ltd.
Since 1987, Frauscher Sensortechnik GmbH has been developing and manufacturing high-quality products in the field of inductive sensor technology. The main area of application for these products is railway systems that take on responsibility for the safety of rail operations. This results in extremely high requirements regarding all stages of the product life cycle, from the concept to subsequent provision of support for the products in the field.
We have made use of our experience in the area of sensor technology in order to develop the Magnetic Noise Receiver (MNR) measuring system. On the basis of standards, the MNR detects electromagnetic interference from vehicles in the frequency range from 10 kHz - 1.3 MHz.
Frauscher is number one throughout the world in the manufacture of inductive sensor technology for railway applications. The high vertical integration, the seamless checks carried out on the quality and functions of the components and systems and the ongoing optimisation of all production steps ensure the high quality of the products.
Frauscher Sensortechnik GmbH concentrates exclusively on the development, manufacture and sale of inductive sensor technology and wheel safety components for the railway industry.

In order to guarantee that this top-quality support is always available quickly and with the flexibility and efficiency one would expect from Frauscher customer support, Frauscher has decided to sign up some capable partners. Given appropriate training and practical experience, they can then provide sensor technology on Frauscher's behalf as "certified service partners".
The main roles of the "certified Frauscher service partners" are:
Since it was certified, L&B has already taken on several service orders on behalf of Frauscher. Among others, these included commissioning the ACS2000 axle counting system, a field trial in Siegdorf (ICE line) and a software update for RSR123 in Germany (Chemnitz, Döbeln, Waldheim, etc.). More service work is planned, including some in Denmark.

Frauscher showcased its products from 8 to 10 March at the AsiaPacificRail in Hong Kong. This year, the conference, which takes place annually at the Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel in Hong Kong, was once again a very successful meeting of experts from the field of railway technology. In addition to Frauscher, companies such as Alstom, AnsaldoSTS, Bombardier and MTR came under the spotlight as sponsors of the conference.
We were particularly delighted by the many people who attended the Frauscher lecture “Optimisation of operative efficiency and safety through modern wheel detection and axle counting system solutions”, which was delivered by David Townsend, Managing Director of Frauscher Sensor Technology (Beijing) Co. Ltd.
Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Ltd (MRVC Ltd), a state-run project company controlled by Indian Railways, awards the largest contract for axle counting systems in recent years to a consortium under the technical leadership of Frauscher Sensortechnik GmbH.
The contract encompasses system design, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of the axle counting system ACS2000 in 19 stations on the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai (CSTM)-Thane, Kalyan & Ravli Junction Yard line within the Mumbai Division of the Central Railway, and in the Jogeshwari area within the Mumbai Division of the Western Railway. The contract involves fitting out more than 1000 track sections with the latest wheel sensor technology from Frauscher.
