Level crossings

There are numerous options for realising level crossings in terms of signalling, for example with track vacancy detection, direction information or simply axle counting.

Wheel sensors used to switch level crossings on and/or off have existed since the early days of track switching devices. With the aid of modern wheel detection systems, level crossing safety systems can also be switched on and off safely with a double sensor. On a global level there is an almost infinite variety of configurations, including those in combination with axle counting circuits.

Level crossings

Our components have already been integrated into a large number of level crossing protection systems by a wide range of system manufacturers.
