Proven and multifaceted: RSR180/181
This group of wheel sensors is characterised by technology that has been tried and tested over many years and by continuous further developments. Features that should be highlighted include the omission of an electronic calibration device in the track and the simple and rapid assembly process. The calibration process takes place at the evaluation board in the inner system.
Wheel sensor RSR180
In conjunction with an appropriate evaluation device, the wheel sensor type RSR180 is suited to reliable detection of rolling stock wheels. It is conveniently secured using a rail claw at the rail base. This means that there is no need to drill into the rail! The wheel sensor RSR180 is connected to the evaluation board in the inner system using a signal cable with star-quad stranding.
Depending on the signal evaluation, the scope of use for the wheel sensor RSR180 extends from simple reporting and monitoring tasks and detection of the direction of travel to axle counting at speeds ranging from 0-450 km/h.
After assembly, it is not necessary to implement any further settings in the track area. Electrical adjustment takes place at the evaluation board in the inner system. The wheel sensor RSR180 consists of two wheel sensor systems arranged along the track.
Wheel sesnosr RSR181
The RSR181 is supplemented by the convenient plug-in connector for the connecting cable.
Applications:
Wheel detection and/or axle counting (Frauscher ACS2000) for standard-gauge railways and trams, automatic warning systems, level crossing safety systems, track switches, pedal functions, hot-box detection (HOA), speed measurement systems, direction detection, etc.
