Linux System Administrator

Your main roles and responsibilities

  • Supervise the Linux system environment (Debian/Ubuntu/Redhat/SuSE/CentOS)
  • Be in charge of all duties (installation, configuration, patching, maintenance & support) related to our server environment
  • Implement projects to optimise our IT infrastructure
  • Plan and implement CI/CD processes and automation
  • Be the point of contact for internal projects for our SW development teams


You are just right for this role if

  • you have completed education in the IT field and have several years of professional experience in the Linux environment
  • you have acquired very good knowledge in scripting (e.g. Python, Bash, Powershell)
  • you already have good know-how in the areas of automation/configuration management (Ansible, Git, Docker) and in the administration of databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • ideally you already have some experience with Gitlab/Atlassian/CI/CD/Terraform
  • you enjoy working in a team and at the same time are ambitious in pursuing individual goals
  • it is no problem for you to communicate in English
