Change of address at Frauscher in Kazakhstan

Since May 2013, Frauscher has had its own office in Kazakhstan. The country in the heart of Asia is an important market for the company. In recent years, the local team has been able to implement important projects and establish strategic contacts beyond national borders. Now, March 2019 did not change the location, but the address of the location did.

On 20 March 2019, the Kazakh parliament decided to rename its capital Astana to Nursultan. The country thus honours its former President Nursultan Nazarbayev, who resigned on 19 March 2019. On 23 March 2019, the new President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, signed a decree allowing for the renaming of the capital.

The new address of Frauscher's Kazakh office is:

KTZ c/o Frauscher

Kunayev street 6 | Office 205/7

010000 Nur-Sultan | Kasachstan

In 1997 President Nazarbayev moved the capital from Almaty to Astana. He transformed this provincial town, known for its severe winters, into a showpiece of modern architecture. One of the most famous buildings is an observation tower. There visitors have the opportunity to touch a handprint of the former head of state.
