Good to know about Frauscher

The Frauscher headquarter in Austria is located in St. Marienkirchen, a small community with approximately 1,900 inhabitants. St. Marienkirchen is part of the so-called “Innviertel”, one of the four quarters of Upper Austria. The cultural heritage of this region is predominantly rural and many farms and smaller villages can be seen around Schärding, the capital of the district.

It takes around 30 minutes to go there; bikes are available to rent from the Frauscher apartments. Please just get in contact with our Office Management.

Generally, shops in Austria open at around 7.30 am and close between 6 and 7 pm (from Monday to Friday). On a Saturday, shops close at around 6pm. On Sundays and public holidays, all shops, banks and even some restaurants are usually closed.

Note: every second Saturday morning, there is a farmers’ market in the city center of Schärding. Local products, fresh meat and cheese, bread and other homemade traditional goods are sold.
